Hello,
I recently purchased the S2 black hub through QBP and built it up. However I find myself struggling to engage a proper shift consistently for the past week. Sometimes I would over pedal and it seems like it shifts up and back again, sometimes I would not back pedal enough. I am finding myself back pedalling at intersections trying to get back into direct drive. Would you offer any advice on this matter?

I would suggest changing your gearing if you are running a cog larger than an 18 tooth in the back. Play around with the numbers to achieve your desired gear inches using a gear inch calculator. The larger the rear cog the shorter the shift engagement angle. If you can get away with a smaller rear cog the shift angle will be much more manageable. The S2C is nice because you can only hit the one shift before hitting the brake. The S2 takes some getting use to because there is no brake, so you could theoretically just keep changing gears by freewheeling.
